In the following years, Antwan became a support in a host of helps activities in the
church; as small group leader, event coordinator, prison ministry leader, and adult
class teacher. In 1998 he completed a year long ministry training course.

Antwan R. Smith is a highly energetic and charismatic leader that knows how to
build and inspire the best to come out of people. Although being raised in a single
parent household, Antwan credits his family for making him a well rounded
individual. As a young boy he was influenced by members of his family in becoming
a responsible young man.

After a chain of troubling circumstances in his young life, Antwan received Jesus as
Savior in 1992 at the age of 17. Two years later he attended Bible college where he
helped out in evangelism outreaches. At age 20 he was appointed to serve as head
usher. In 1997, he married Nikisha Taylor and later became youth leader.

In the workplace things were not any different. When working in the factory he not only did his job, but took
classes and passed tests that enabled him to become a volunteer internal auditor in the company. Presently, he
works in sales and has attained national recognition for sales and outstanding customer service, the first ever to
win this award at his place of employment.
Today, Antwan Smith is founder and pastor of Impact Christian Center, a new church in the Dayton, Ohio area.
